[Contest] Name Change – Hurry! It ends on Feb 8th

Stamford Skating Club will be moving to the new Gale Arena in Niagara Falls effective May 2010. We have decided that this would be a great opportunity for a NEW NAME and IMAGE to go with our new arena!! Stamford Skating Club was named after the Township of Stamford in the 1950’s and we think this would be a perfect time for an update!
We have decided to hold a NAME CHANGE CONTEST! Simply cast your vote on our website www.stamfordskatingclub.org. The first member who suggests a name that receives the majority of the votes wins a $50 gift certificate to Buchner’s Source for Sports. Remember, you can only vote on the web and you can only vote once! Good luck!
HURRY as we will only be excepting votes until Feb 8th!
Entrants may submit as many names as they like, but each entry must be submitted separately. After an entry is made, they can only have one voted per member. Entrants must use non-proprietary content in their name. SSC is not responsible for lost, delayed, or misdirected entries or for entries that are not received. As a not for profit organization, all club name submissions become the property of the Stamford Skating Club, regardless of selection as the winner. All entries will be evaluated by the Board of Directors and will be accepted through a voting process. The decisions of the Board are final in all respects. The contest will run from 2:00 pm Jan 21, 2010 till 11:59 pm, Feb 8, 2010.
